What happened?
I downloaded the latest release (1.1.01), and wanted to update Ventoy in the drive to this version (the drive was on 1.1.00). The process seemed to go well at first, but it was taking longer then usual, and it eventually failed with an error.
At that point the drive no longer showed up in Explorer, I restarted Ventoy, and it showed that Ventoy was no longer installed on the drive.
I opened Windows Disk Management, and saw that the drive was now completely unformatted:
