I really think it's inconvenient to have to configure an additional custom API Key when using Task Master in AI IDEs like Cursor or Windsurf. It feels like I'm paying double the cost, which doesn't seem quite right.

User Context

I've been using Task Master with Cursor lately, and I find it really annoying that I have to manually set up the API Key every time. It's just so cumbersome and increases the cost.

User Impact

Having to configure the API Key every time is not only a hassle but also makes me feel like I'm paying extra for no good reason. It's just not a great experience.

Suggestions

I've noticed that some other Task Manager MCP tools can be used directly after being integrated into Cursor or Windsurf, without needing to provide an additional API Key. I think Task Master could be designed in the same way, as a direct MCP tool integration without requiring manual API Key configuration. This would make it more consistent with other tools and provide a much smoother experience for users.

I don't have any screenshots right now, but the process of configuring the API Key is definitely cumbersome.

Additional Notes

I sincerely hope you can optimize this process. Many tools are working hard to simplify operations these days, and I really hope Task Master can do better in this regard.
