Configurations for keybindings and aliases for common commands would be nice for users to personalize/optimize the ux for themselves. As a kakoune user I would like to make slight adjustments to the keybindings to make it more like kakoune, and maybe other users of other editors (or users with slightly altered vim keybindings) may want to do the same.
