Invalid email address stops data from saving to spreadsheet #345

UPDATE: See comment below, it appears this is only an issue when the email address is invalid.

I have my form submitting and showing up in the Google sheet locally (no emails sent but that's another story).

However, when I move onto part 2 and:

Add in the AJAX script
Add in the thank you message div
Add in the invalid email div

All of this throws no errors in the console. In fact, all appears well on the browser console but nothing shows up in the Google Sheet and the thank you message doesn't show up either.

If I comment out the script tag the form submits again (moving the user to the next page with the raw submissions as per the end of Part 1) and answers show up in the sheet again. 😬
